(Image via Twitter/@airnewsalertsOn Tuesday, the Supreme Court rejected a challenge to the Delhi High Court's order that had rejected a PIL that sought to stop Central Vista construction in light of the COVID pandemic.Aniruddha Bose, Dinesh Maheshwari, and AM Khanwilkar of the Supreme Court said they are not inclined to interfere in the High Court's order because the petitioners had chosen Central Vista Project and didn't do any basic research on other public projects that were allowed during lockdown in the capital.According to it, the Delhi HC's findings on the PIL that it had been'motivated'' and was filed with 'ill-intent and 'lackof bona fides is possible to be a view.The petitioners were also imposed a Rs 1 lakh penalty by the top court.Cental Vista's main project envisions the construction of a new Parliament House. This will be a new residential complex that will house the prime minister and vice president. The new building will include office buildings as well as a Central Secretariat that can accommodate different ministries.
