Construction of the second MSC Cruises ship powered by liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) has begun.MSC Euribia has been hailed as the most environmentally-friendly ship in its class.In June 2023, the 22nd vessel of the European lines fleet will enter service.According to MSC Euribias, engines powered by MSC Euribias will be able to reduce CO2 emissions up to 25% when compared to standard fuels.The Chantiers de lAtlantique shipyard, Saint Nazaire in France, was the first to cut the steel.MSC Cruises has committed to powering at most three new ships using LNG at a cost greater than 3 billion.MSC World Europa is the first vessel currently being built in Saint Nazaire.
