Johnson & Johnson decides not to conduct trials in India for its COVID-19 vaccine

Representative Image (PC-Reuters)According to the Economic Times, Johnson & Johnson won't be conducting local trials in India for its single-shot COVID-19 vaccination.J&J had applied for approval to conduct bridging trials in India, but the U.S.-based drugmaker stated that it would not need to do so now that India has removed that requirement.According to the Economic Times, the company is looking at ways to increase the availability of its vaccines in India.J&J did no immediate respond to Reuters' request for comment.
