Geojit's report about Agri PicksAccording to AmSpec Agri Malaysia, Malaysia's palm oil exports rose 6.6% from June 1-25 to 1.2 million tn. The current 2021-22 (Apr–Mar) rabi season saw wheat procurement rise 11.9% to an all time high of 43.3 million tn. A release stated that the government had purchased 854.8 billion rupees worth of wheat from 4.9 million farmers in the country so far. According to India Meteorological Department, India received 5.9 mm of rainfall today. This is 26% less than the 7.9 mm normal weighted average. However, the south peninsula received 12% more rainfall than normal at 6.5mm. The conditions are not favorable for the southwest monsoon to continue its expansion into Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, Chandigarh., Delhi, Punjab, and Delhi during the next six-seven-days, India Meteorological Department reported. According to UNICA, Brazil's sugarcane industry association, which is known by its Portuguese acronym UNICA, sugarcane production in Brazil's center-south region dropped by 14.4% to 2.22 mln tonnes from Jun 1-15, compared with 2.56 mlntn tntn in the region. To provide relief for sectors that were adversely affected by COVID-19's second wave, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman expanded several existing credit guarantee programs.
