Is Facebook a monopoly? Please define, says judge.

It wasn't going to be easy for Facebook to challenge its market power, which is the 34th-largest social network in the world and 34th largest company by revenue. On Monday, a US judge further complicate efforts by dismissing two lawsuits against the company brought by lawyers general across the country. The DC Circuit Court Judge James Boasberg sided with the company when it moved to dismiss two separate lawsuits brought by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and a coalition representing 48 states in December. He ruled that the case was not sufficient to show that Facebook held a monopoly in social media. In particular, the court did not find that Facebook controlled more than 60% of the market.
