He was then sent to the hospital.United Express flight 5365, operated under SkyWest Airlines, was about to depart a gate shortly after 7pm. According to NBC News, flight crew witnessed the passenger get up from his seat and banging on the cockpit door. Then, he exited the plane through the emergency doors.According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the passenger received treatment for injuries after being taken into custody on the taxiway. He was then sent to the hospital. The plane's passengers were not injured. According to the airport, Embraer 175, a twin-engine Embraer 175, was heading to Salt Lake City.
