Officials say that a Missouri woman drowned when floodwaters drove her Jeep off the road and into a creek.Larry Fish, Clinton County Sheriff, said that the vehicle carrying four people was swept off a road in Castile Creek on Friday near Gower. This left them stranded for several hours.One of the occupants called for help at a nearby house on Saturday morning. Fish stated that he believed the occupants needed to wait for the floodwaters recede.Clinton County firefighters and Clinton County deputies saved two of the victims, but the fourth victim died, according to the sheriff's office.According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jolene Fader (51-year-old Gower resident) drowned when she couldn't escape from the Jeep.Flash flooding was caused by heavy rainfall in northwest Missouri last week.
