Style-wise, I am Black AF so any protective style will work, especially since it will prevent my head looking lumpy underneath a hijab.Because of the lack privacy, hijabis have a hard time finding good salons in this area. When I used to go to the salon for a doobie (pictured right), I had to request to be seated in the back to ensure that no one could see my hair outside. It's awkward because of the male employees walking around, and although they might not have known that I was a hijabi but I wanted to shrink into my chair.Although there are Muslim stylists who work from their homes, I would love to experience a great salon experience.
