LG Targets Gamers With 120Hz Dolby Vision for C1 and G1 TVs

LG is targeting gamers with new features on its OLED TVs C1 and G1 series. These TVs are designed to provide the best visual experience possible.The Korean tech company announced Monday, June 28 that its latest firmware (03.15.27), makes LGs C1 TVs and G1 TVs first to support DolbyVision HDR at 4K 120Hz on selected gaming platforms.Digital Trends reached out to LG to find out more about which platforms are most beneficial. The company released this statement in a press release.Game DashboardLG's latest firmware update brings another feature to gamers who own LG TVs with Game Optimizer. The floating onscreen menu, called Game Dashboard, is similar to the Head-Up Display (HUD), which can be found in many games.Game Dashboard gives users quick access to the TV's settings. This allows you to jump quickly between different genres Standard and FPS without having to pause the action.LG stated that the dashboard shows other modes, such as low latency, black stabilizer and variable refresh rate (VRR).
