After blasting William Barr, his former attorney general as a RINO and expressing regret at supporting Mitch McConnell, the former President of the United States expressed regret.On Sunday and Monday, Trump made statements in response to an article The Atlantic published. It was written by Jonathan Karl, ABC News reporter. The article stated that McConnell, from Kentucky, had asked Barr to declare publicly that there was no evidence for a stolen election in 2020. This article was based upon an interview Barr conducted with him, which showed that he didn't see any evidence of widespread voter fraud.Trump stated Monday that if Mitch McConnell had fought for the Presidency as he should, there would be Presidential Vetoes on all the phased Legislation he has been unable to stop.He also lost two Georgia Senatorial seats, which made the Republicans the Minority in Senate. Trump's Monday statement said that Trump never fought for the White House and instead blew it for the Country. He would have been the primary winner in Kentucky if I had not backed him. According to press reports, he convinced Bill Barr (based on huge amounts of evidence that Fake News refuses mention) to get the corrupt. Election over and sealed for Biden ASAP!Trump's broadside was in response to the Karl article. It reported that Barr concluded that there was no evidence of widespread fraud that could have tilted President Joe Biden's victory in the presidential election. This came after narrow victories in Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin. Some counties in Nevada, Michigan, and Pennsylvania were also close.This article also describes a heated meeting between Barr and Trump at the White House in December, shortly after Barr said to the Associated Press that there was not enough evidence to suggest the election was stolen.Trump stated in a statement that RINO ex-Attorney General Bill Barr failed investigation into election fraud and let down the American people.Trumps Save America PAC released a statement from the 45th President. Bill Barr's weakness was instrumental in the concealment of the Crime of the Century and the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election.According to the Atlantic, Barr gave federal prosecutors authorization to investigate serious allegations of voter irregularities that could have an impact on the outcome of the election. This caused controversy because the Justice Department policy is to not investigate voter fraud until after an election has been certified.Barr said to Karl in The Atlantic interview that my attitude was "put-up or shut up time". I didn't have any motive to suppress evidence of fraud if there was. My suspicion was that there wasn't any. It was all bull.The Justice Department investigated allegations of fraud in Detroit. However, they noted that Biden received 1,000 fewer votes than Hillary Clinton in 2020 and that Trump actually gained 5,000 votes. Barr pointed out that Trump lost Michigan in the suburbs.Barr had also prosecutors look into allegations of rigged voting machines. He received briefings from FBI and Department of Homeland Security cybersecurity experts.Barr explained that it is a counting machine and they keep all the data. You just need to reconcile them. I have not seen any discrepancy anywhere.McConnell asked Barr to make a public statement about Trump's claim that the election was rigged in mid-November. He feared that this would hurt the GOP's chances of winning the January special election for two Senate seats from Georgia. McConnell wanted to campaign for a Republican Senate majority in order to prevent a Democratic president from taking office.McConnell was worried that if Republicans acknowledged Bidens win, it would upset Trump, when the party needed him campaign for two incumbent GOP senators, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, Barr reports.Karl stated that McConnell confirmed his conversation with the former attorney-general. The special runoff elections were won by Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, Democrats.McConnell reportedly said to Barr, Youre better placed to inject some reality into the situation.
