Honda finally announces its first electric vehicle, coming in 2024

Honda unveiled the Prologue, its first all-electric car, Monday.The SUV is expected to arrive in early 2024. It will feature the General Motors' Ultium platform battery platform. This same platform will also be used in GMC Hummer EEV supertruck and SUV.Honda is closer to its goal of producing zero-emission cars in North America by 2040 with the Prologue. Acura, Honda’s luxury brand, will also launch an electric SUV in 2024. This is its first EV.Honda currently offers only hybrids and plug in hybrid options. Honda will launch its own EV line after 2024.Honda has created a separate website to promote the Prologue. It promised more information (and hopefully photos) about the EV over the next few months.
