Fans of Nier won't need to wait long to enjoy the first mobile version. Square Enix, which was first teased in 2020 via IGN, announced today that Nier Reincarnation will be released on July 28th. A new trailer was also released by Square Enix, which hints at the main story beats.Reincarnation is an action RPG. A character called the Girl in White wakes up in a place known as the Cage. Mama, a ghost, is there to assist the girl and tell the story as it unfolds. Reincarnation, like previous Nier titles will shift between perspectives. Applibot is a Japanese developer, best known for games like Grimoire, but Reincarnation was developed by Applibot. It also features contributions from Yoko Taro, Keiichi Okabe, and others who are closely connected to the series. The trailer shared by IGN features one of the songs Okabe wrote for the game.When Reincarnation launches on Android and iOS, it will be available for free. Pre-register to the game and you will receive a welcome package with in-game Gems currency. Square Enix informed IGN that it will increase the number of Gems it gives to every 100,000 pre-registered players.
