Microsoft has launched its Xbox Cloud Gaming service to all Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, iOS and PC. This follows an invite-only beta testing that began in mid-April. Today's open beta allows you to visit the xCloud website to play some of the Games Pass games through your browser. The service is available on PC via Safari and Edge, while iOS users can access it through Safari. The new hardware allows you to stream games at 1080p, up to 60 frames per minute, if you have an internet connection. Microsoft will also expand its Designed for Xbox program to include two iOS controllers, the Razer Kishi and the Backbone One. The new badge will include a three-month free trial of Game Pass Ultimate.Microsoft has had a long journey to get xCloud on iOS devices. Apple originally stated that it would not allow game streaming apps on its iOS devices. However, Apple later made an exception to allow these apps to be used through a browser.
