Hotel Review: Residence Inn Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach

We needed to find a place to sleep for an overnight stay in Cape Canaveral. I searched for nearby places because I needed to redeem some night certificates. We were fortunate to find a hotel that meets all our needs.8959 Astronaut Blvd.Cape Canaveral in FloridaThe Residence Inn is part the Marriott Bonvoy hotel family and is a Category 5 property. For Off-Peak nights, you will earn 30,000 points and 35,000 for a standard reward. Peak nights are worth 40,000. This means that you can get a Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card free of charge for any night except peak.Built in 2005, the hotel features 150 guest rooms. The hotel charges $10 per day for parking. The hotel is located at the northern tip Cape Canaveral. It's a great place to visit the Kennedy Space Center. The hotel is also near the Port Canaveral cruise terminals, so you can take another cruise. It takes only a few minutes to drive from the airport to Cocoa Beach. The lobby check-in was fast. Due to Sharons Platinum status with Marriott, we were upgraded from a studio room to a one-bedroom suite. Here they also offer hot breakfast for free.A nice outdoor area is available with a fire pit and pool. You can also use the exercise room.Residence Inn rooms include a living room, kitchen and bedroom. We found that most extended-stay hotels allow you to enter the hotel through the kitchen. The kitchen table was small, and the living room was large. The sofa is a couch bed.Although there was some wear to the couch and a stain, we didn't stay long. It was great to have a large desk and chair that had a view of the outside.Next, you will find the bedroom area. The room we booked was a king size, but there are also rooms that have 2 queen beds. The bedroom was not large and had little more room than the furniture and bed.The bathroom was divided into two parts. The mirror and sink were in the first area. Although there was only one sink there was ample counter space. The toilet and combo bath/shower were behind that.Last ThoughtsThe room rates can be more than $250 per night so it is a great place for a free night certificate, or to redeem points of decent value. The Residence Inn Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach offers a great option for extended stays or family trips. It has a fully-equipped kitchen and a refrigerator. You want to comment on this article? That's great! This will help you to get it approved.Do you like this post? Share it!
