After Scott Parker's resignation from Fulham, Bournemouth has appointed Scott Parker their new head coach.Former Fulham boss, aged 40, has signed a three year contract at Vitality Stadium. He replaces Jonathan Woodgate, who resigned this week after his contract expired.Parker stated that he believes this is the right fit for both parties."I know Bournemouth because I have a relationship with Harry Arter. It's a football team I am familiar with from having watched him over the years."The ethos and reputation of the team, the journey, and the challenge are all very exciting to me and my staff. We want to create a team that fans can be proud of, and one that they feel represents them. He has a clear vision of how he wants his players to play and what it takes to get promoted to the Championship."Scott is 100% invested in the long-term projects in front of me here. This is the beginning of an exciting new phase for this club.Before Parker sealed his move to the south, he had assembled his backroom staff. Parker will be assisted by Matt Wells as his head coach. Rob Burch has been appointed the Cherries' goalkeeping coaches.Alastair Harris is now head of performance.
