AdBlock glitch blanks out content on Twitter, Wikipedia, Amazon, and other sites

Check to see if AdBlock Plus or AdBlock Plus has been installed on your browser if the internet seems a bit empty in the past day. Many users claim that ad blocking software has inadvertently erased the content they are looking for on many mainstream websites.Although it is not clear what caused the problem the issue can either be resolved by going to settings and asking for an update for your filter list. The Adblock Plus support channel confirmed that the problem was already fixed in an email. However, they did not go into detail about the cause. Many social media posts pointed out a recent change to filtering, which works in other blockers, but was misinterpreted by Adblock Plus as blocking media-tagged content.Although there is no official statement from Adblock Plus or its owners eyeo GmbH, it was clear that the problem was temporary.
