Bird Photographer of the Year contest

The My Modern Met site again has posted the finalist of the Bird Photographer of Year contest. They are as impressive as ever. Click the image below to view them all. These are the 2021 Bird Photographer of the Year Awards finalists. This years gallery features a variety of amazing moments from the animal kingdom, including a battle between an enormous eagle & a fox and an adorable fluffy duckling exploring its water pond. There were 22,000 entries for the Bird Photographer of the Year competition in 2021. There were 73 countries represented by the hopeful photographers. Will Nicholls, the director of the competition, stated that the standard of photography in the contest was exceptional and that there was an incredible diversity of species. He will announce the final winners in September 2021, along with all other winners. The ultimate winner will also receive a cash prize of $5,000 ($6,900) in addition to the Bird Photographer of the year title. A fine art book featuring the finalists and other outstanding images from this year's competition will also be available on BPOTY's website.There are 30 photos total.
