Tour de France Vows to Sue Spectator Who Caused Massive Crash With Sign

The Tour de France is going to sue the spectator for causing a huge pileup on Saturday's first stage. She stepped onto the road unaware that the peloton was approaching. Tony Martin, a German cyclist, hit the spectators sign and fell to the ground. This caused a chain reaction which saw many other riders fall from their bikes. This was the first of two crashes on that leg.AdvertisementAccording to the Tour de France, the woman will be punished for her actions. Pierre-Yves Thouault (the organization's deputy director) said to AFP that we are suing the woman for her bad behavior.
