In the future, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro may seem a bit small. 9to5Mac reports that Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Bloomberg's CEO, claimed in his "Power On" newsletter that Apple was looking at iPads with larger displays. If they do go ahead, any potential products might still be early and take a few years to ship. Apple's expansion plans are notable, as it hasn’t expanded beyond 12.9 inches since the launch of its original iPad Pro in 2015.Gurman previously claimed that the iPad Pro would be redesigned in 2022. The glass back could allow for wireless charging. However, the screen size won't change. An iPad that is larger could pose a risk. The current iPad Pro is too big, even if it doesn't have a keyboard attached. A larger model could be just as cumbersome. Some users complain that iPadOS does not take full advantage of the existing iPad hardware.Apple is not the only one thinking about size increases. Samsung is said to be considering, if not already developing, a 14.6 inch tablet that could easily surpass the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S7. This does not include niche models such as the Galaxy View series. It may not be about beating the competition if a supersized iPad is made.
