He has one more film to complete his film career.AdvertisementTarantino spoke out to Bill Maher in a recent interview to promote his book. The novel is based on his 2019 film Once Upon a Time In Hollywood. This was much to the dismay of the late-night talk show host who called the directors' intention to quit nonsense after saying that the Oscar nominated film was Tarantinos peak and his favorite film of all time.Tarantino stated that he wanted to retire at the top of his field and that he knew film history well. Maher believes Tarantino is too young for retirement. He cited the example of Don Siegel, who made two films after the success of Escape From Alcatraz in 1979. What a great last film if he had given up his career when he made Escape from Alcatraz in 1979. Wow! He dribbles off with two more...he doesn't mean it.Tarantino stated that he does not plan to remake 1992's Reservoir Dogs. This was based on his quick assurances to the internet. He knows the film fans wouldn't be happy about this.
