Hurricane Lane captures Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby in thrilling finish - The Moodie Davitt Report

UAE/IRELAND Hurricane Lane was able to grab the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby in an exciting finish on Saturday. Charlie Appleby trained the horse and William Buick rode it. Lone Eagle was caught on the line by Lone Eagle.The Curragh in County Kildare hosted the 14th running of Dubai Duty Frees' Irish Derby. It was also the 156th overall. Eleven horses participated in the 1,000,000 showpiece of the Irish flat-racing season.
