Married couple stuck living in abandoned real estate development

This is the worst nightmare for any new homeowner.London couple purchased and moved in to a house that was part of a planned new housing development in England. It was built over three years ago. The building company collapsed, leaving many of the houses unfinished and making the area a ghost-town.Southwest News Service (SWNS), reports that Mark Phillips and Lucia purchased the home to escape the London city life. To stop people from stealing into abandoned lots for drugs, they had to install floodlights.Phillips stated to SWNS that "we were perfectly happy to begin with." Phillips stated that all houses had roofs. Although they weren't all done, they were slowly getting there. They returned to their home to find that contractors had removed balconies and rooves from several properties, including the Phillips' house.
