Protesters light fire outside South Carolina police precinct after video circulates of double arrest

After a viral video that showed two brothers being arrested in violent confrontation with police officers, protesters set ablaze a South Carolina precinct and blocked traffic Wednesday.Rock Hill was engulfed by a crowd of about 100 people who blocked the intersections before setting a tree ablaze outside the headquarters.The Rock Hill Police Department was set on fire. They also stated that the police did not use tear gas or other non-lethal munitions to disperse the crowd.Police have released a statement that Ricky Price was stopped earlier in the day by Rock Hill officers and the Department of Homeland Security. Price was described as a "known offenders" according to police. After Price called Travis Price, a K-9 alerted him to the presence of narcotics.Continue the storyInvestigators found two bags of marijuana in Ricky Price's vehicle door. Also, a 9mm handgun was located in Price's back seat. Travis Price was reportedly seen "bumping" and "shoving" officers as he tried to get Ricky Price into custody.Soon after, Ricky Price was handcuffed to take his jewelry. He then tried to flee, and threw several punches at police officers, one of which hit him in the face. The incident lasted 15 minutes and was captured by a witness on Facebook Live. It has been viewed more than 2,200 times and received around 92,000 views.As the fight continued, both brothers were eventually brought down. One officer was seen hitting Ricky Price in the thigh "to get compliance." Police allegedly hit Ricky Price in the face after he continued resisting.Later, law enforcement allegedly found a "Crown Royal Bag containing crack cocaine" in Ricky Price’s vehicle. Ricky Price was taken to a local hospital following the incident. No weapons or Tasers had been used during the scuffle.
