It sounds like star Joaquin Phoenix could be open to making a sequel to the movie. Sitting down on a recent installment of Popcorn with Peter Travers, the actor revealed that he feels the possibilities are "endless" in regards to where he could go with the character.

"I talked to (director) Todd (Phillips) a lot about what else we might be able to do, in general," he begins, "just working together, but also specifically, if there's something else with Joker that might be interesting."

When asked if he was closed to the option of doing another Joker movie, he answered, "No. Me and Todd would still be shooting now if we could, right? Because it seemed endless, the possibilities of where we can go with the character."

"I don't know that there is (more to do)," Phoenix added, but it'll be interesting to see if that changes as the box office bank continues to roll in. Watch Phoenix talk about a possible Joker movie sequel around the 21:35 mark the video above.
