Sources: Big Ten pulls plug on fall football season

The Big Ten Conference has decided to cancel fall sports, including football, sources confirmed to ESPN's Mark Schlabach on Tuesday.

Sources tell Schlabach that the conference is expected to officially announce the decision at 3 p.m. ET. Tuesday.

Last Wednesday, the Big Ten announced its 10-game conference-only schedule, beginning on Labor Day weekend.
