Burberry is back with its latest footwear release, unveiling its Arthur Sneakers, a chunky high-top silhouette with weatherproof rain boot inspirations.
The sneaker comes with a series of durable ballistic ripstop, batted nylon, suede and glossy rubber textiles, mashed together for a technical outdoor look. The tongue sees a sleek nylon shell, complemented with a long pull tab that runs down to the toe cap. Ballistic nylon panels cover the sidewalls and heel counter, while hits of suede appear near the front. One noteworthy highlight of the shoes is its rubberized mudguards that covers a large portion of the toe cap, waterproofing the piece for the rainy days. All of these details sit atop a chunky midsole that sees a slightly raised heel, finished off with "BURBERRY" branding at the back.
