Marriott Requires Face Mask Usage At All Hotels Worldwide Effective July 27, 2020

Marriott today decided to require all guests to wear a face mask when indoors at their properties effective July 27, 2020.

The CEO, Arne Sorenson, released a video where he explains their rationale behind the decision. The company follows AHLA's (American Hotel & Lodging Association) Safe Stay Guest Checklist.

You have to give Marriott credit to require guests to wear a face mask as this is "controversial" (doesn't make any sense) issue at its primary market. Some in the United States appears to believe that their freedoms are limited if face covering is required.

I have to say that I first felt uncomfortable wearing one, but you do get used it after a while to the point that you no longer even notice it.

Let's do this small step that appears to limit the spread of Covid-19 so that we would get through this pandemic with fever deaths.
