Hyatt has launched a new feature for World of Hyatt members who want to redeem for suites online. Previously only standard rooms could be booked online, but now World of Hyatt members can redeem points for both standard or premium suites using points on Hyatt's site as well as the World of Hyatt mobile app.

You can view World of Hyatt's award redemption chart which lists standard rooms, standard suites, and premium suites by category.

Hyatt shared that as of today, this rollout is now complete at all Hyatt hotels and resorts with available standard and premium suite accommodations, so you should be able to start booking suites seamlessly online.

As an example, we checked out the Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour, a World of Hyatt Category 7 property. Free night awards start at 30,000 points per night, standard suites start at 48,000 points, and premium suites are 60,000 points per night. For the premium suite option you can choose from the Nevis Peak Suite with plunge pool or a Park Executive Suite with plunge pool.

Taking a look at another property, you'll find the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, a World of Hyatt Category 3 property. Free night awards start at 12,000 points per night. At this property, most of their suites are considered standard suites which can be booked for 20,000 points per night including their Casita Suite.

Another great feature of being able to book suite awards online is the ability to check standard suite availability for Globalists looking to use suite upgrade awards. Generally, if you can book a standard suite using points online, you should be able to use a suite upgrade award to confirm the suite upgrade.

It's great to see Hyatt add the ability to book suites using points online and through their mobile app. Always be sure to check the cash amount vs. the points amount to make sure you're getting a good value on your points redemption.

As a reminder, Hyatt is offering up to 25% back on all award stays now through October 8, 2020. Suite awards do apply for this offer, so you could essentially redeem your Hyatt points at a fraction of the cost if you have any upcoming travel plans in the next few months.
