Imagine a world where you're really craving a pretzel shaped like Mickey Mouse. Or a Monte Cristo sandwich. Or maybe you've really got a hankering for an authentic, not-from-a-mix-at-home Dole Whip. Apparently, it might be an option sometime in the future.

Established in 2005, Micechat.com is one of the older and more established Disney blogs out there. They focus more on facts and news than rumors and have enjoyed a good sized following for years.

Anyway, Micechat founder, Dusty Sage, wrote a post not long ago about a survey that Disney recently sent out to Disneyland annual passholders. Most of the questions in the poll were about respondents' thoughts on the Novel 2019 Coronavirus and its relation to the parks reopening. But one question really came out of left field:

Disney is always considering new ideas, and we'd like to get your opinions about a few of those now. If offered, how likely would you be to use the following services that you could order from home? Disneyland Resort prepared food & beverage delivered to your home

Hmmm???

Actually, something like this makes perfect sense. Walt Disney World's visitors are from virtually everywhere - different states, different countries. But the question is from/about Disneyland, in California, where its bread and butter (pun intended) are locals. If you only live, say, 10 or 20 miles from Disneyland, being able to use an Uber Eats or Door Dash model to be able to have a Monte Cristo sandwich delivered really wouldn't be so far fetched.

There are lots of things Disney thinks up and then tries to see what their guests feel about them. Most, not surprisingly, never see the light of day. But in this "new normal" where food delivery is bigger than ever, well, it'll be interesting to see if this ever pans out.
