This custom build by Jimco might look like a Ford Raptor on the outside, but in this case, beauty is only skin deep. Underneath the bodywork is a legit, Baja-ready pre-runner chassis and drivetrain that has nothing to do with Ford and an interior that makes it comfortable enough to drive regularly - provided its legal for the street in your state. The frame is a Jimco Victory with independent front and four-link solid rear axle suspension with Fox shocks all around. Under the hood is a 555 cubic-inch V8 making 800 horsepower, based on a big-block Chevrolet design and built by Dougans Racing Engines. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a GM four-speed automatic by Gearworks, and Brembo brakes bring it all to a halt. The interior has racing buckets trimmed in leather with five-point racing harnesses and a rugged dash with plenty of switches and displays for GPS and engine parameters. If you like what you see, Jimco can build one to your exact specifications.
