Delta Air Lines announced today it will require passengers to "to wear a face mask or appropriate face covering" when traveling on the airline.

Delta will supply masks - but encourages passengers to bring their own.

Passengers will need face masks (or other coverings) pretty much everywhere during their Delta travels. Per the airline, this includes:

    t
  • check-in lobby
  • t
  • Delta Sky Clubs
  • t
  • boarding areas
  • t
  • jet bridges
  • t
  • on board aircraft for entire flights - except meal service

Children and others "unable to keep a face covering in place" are exempt from the requirement.
