For the first time in Formula 1 history, a streetwear brand has taken over the winning podium. As part of A Bathing Ape's second collaboration with Formula 1 - which saw the launch of co-branded Shark hoodies, long sleeves, T-shirts, and stickers - the podium was covered in BAPE 's signature BAPE HEAD and CAMO print.

Taking place at Japan's Suzuka Circuit, the race saw Mercedes grab a sixth constructors' championship with Valtteri Bottas at the wheel, followed by Sebastian Vettel for Ferrari, and current 2019 point leader Lewis Hamilton (also Mercedes) taking third place. The sight of seeing all three celebrated drivers standing in front of the camo banner confirms a successful second collaboration between the two brands and industries - after all, the first capsule back in April sold out in a mere 36 hours.
