As we build broader guest awareness for IHG® Hotels & Resorts, an updated logo may appear on select portfolio-wide activity such as this one. There are no broader changes at this time.

IHG recently updated the logo of its Regent-brand:

New: Old: Conclusion

IHG has the same problem as Accor that there are no hotels under the IHG Hotels & Resorts-name like there with Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott. There isn't a single hotel out there with IHG logo up on the roof.

This new logo is more elegant than the previous. Perhaps IHG's goal is to have this IHG Hotels & Resorts-branding under the name of the hotel. It would fit quite well under the Regent.
