John Geiger Showcases the 003

Following up on an apparel release, sneaker designer John Geiger returns to his roots and unveils the next colorway for his new 003 silhouette. The "Black Python" edition features panels of luxe python skin in black, accented with a blue and green holographic stripe running along the midfoot. Followed by white and black laces extending the exotic theme of the footwear, the upper is contrasted by a chunky white outsole.

"With the black python being my favorite color-way I've designed thus far, we decided to shoot myself in a day-to-day environment," said Geiger. "Traveling has become my weekly routine, whether it's for business, family and leisure. With a lot of my ideas coming from traveling."

The "Black Python" 003 will be priced at $320 USD and release at noon EST on Friday, March 27 via John Geiger's online store. Additionally, a 10 percent discount code will be shared on the day-of for newsletter subscribers.

Ironically For My First Collection, (SZN 1) The Term Also Fit Perfectly With The Direction Behind This Collection Highlighting The Pollution & Sickness The Steel Industry Brought. One Image Particular Was Women Protesting Air Pollution Wearing Face Masks In Broad Day Light While Shopping In Downtown Pittsburgh. This Billboard Was Planned For Months Now, We Shot This With My Head Almost Underwater, Black Python 003 Representing That "Suffocation" (Meaning With Everything Happening So Fast, I'm Learning To Juggle Family, Friends and Business) But As I Said Before, Ironically With The Times We Are In At This Moment, And This Being Possibly The Worst Time For A Billboard To Go Up, We All Feel Suffocated. As This Being One Of The illest Things Ive Done In My Career, It Saddens Me With The Timing. Health Is The Most Important Matter At Hand Right Now But Excites Me To Create An Installation With A Powerful Image We All Connect With.
