All opinions are 100% honest & all items were hand-selected by me.

Though I know it goes without saying, this has been such a chaotic week - most of us have had our schedules flipped upside down as we struggle to quickly adapt to the changes happening around the world. I don't want to seem like I'm ignoring the current climate, but my hope is that this site can be a refuge when you are feeling overwhelmed & need a distraction. So, I'll continue to share the things I love, including my own recent purchases, spring outfit ideas & some great online sales to take advantage of while you're social distancing.

I'm so excited to be partnering with Gap today to announce their Friends & Family Event! I've been a long-time devotee of their denim, but they also have so many pretty dresses, chic separates & classic outerwear that will carry you through the season in style. I've put together 3 spring looks featuring some of my favorite pieces from their new arrivals - everything is 40% off with code GAPFRIEND + get an extra 10% off with code ALLYOU (if you're a Gap cardholder, you get an extra 20% off with code PLUS20). This sale doesn't happen very often, so it's a great time to stock up & save!

If you've been wanting to try the wide-leg crop trend but haven't found a pair that work for you, these pants are amazing! I think what makes these magical is the heavier weight fabric that gives them the perfect amount of structure so they lay just right & truly flatter your shape. I got my usual size in the regular length, but these are also available in tall (for those over 5'9″) and petite (I'd recommend for those under 5'6″). They come in 6 different colors & are such a great alternative to jeans - they would even work for the office!

I paired them with this pretty eyelet top, which is a spring/summer wardrobe staple (also comes in white or coral). Wear it with jeans ( these are my current favorite), shorts (love these mid-length options) or tucked into skirts for a feminine look - I recommend sizing down in this as it has a more relaxed fit. More tops that would work well with these pants: this square-neck button-front top (also in stripes & floral print), this linen tie-front top & this v-neck top (also in white here).

What I'm wearing:
c/o Gap Eyelet Peasant Top (also in coral & white),
c/o Gap High Rise Wide-Leg Crop Khakis (comes in 6 colors)

If you want to feel like you're wearing pajamas all day long (without looking like it), this is the dress for you! It is as soft as butter and so comfortable - the tie detail makes it especially flattering through the midriff without being too clingy. If you're worried about the length, this also comes in petite for an above-knee option. This would be great with sneakers or flat sandals too! Other dresses worth checking out during the sale: this textured sleeveless dress, this button-front midi, this white eyelet shift (maxi option here) & this floral print dress.

Although I'm focusing exclusively on women's fashion in this post, I would be remiss if I didn't mention my husband's favorites because he swears by Gap jeans, pants & shorts. We just bought him another color in these vintage khakis, stocked up on these cargo shorts for summer & these are the jeans he wears almost every day (available in blue wash here).

What I'm wearing:
c/o Gap Icon Denim Jacket (also in white, medium & dark wash),
c/o Gap Softspun Tie-Front Midi Dress (also in black & stripes)

An airy white blouse is a must-have for the warm weather months and I fell in love with the embroidered detail on this one. There is a button closure at the neckline, but I left it open for a more relaxed feel. This has a pretty loose fit, so I recommend sizing down. It also comes in gingham, polka dot & a pretty floral print - so great for wearing with jeans & espadrilles!

If you're needing a good casual daytime skirt, this one is such a cute option. I'm a big fan of paperbag waists because I think they're so flattering & this is no exception (recommend sizing down) - you could also remove the fabric tie & replace it with a woven belt like this one. More skirts that are great for dressing up or down include this leopard midi, this eyelet wrap skirt, this floral print midi & button-front denim skirt.

What I'm wearing:
c/o Gap Keyhole Top in Poplin (also in gingham, polka dot & floral)
c/o Gap TENCEL™ Paperbag Mini Skirt (also in pink)
