Following its Case #R001 "Post Human Era" Fall/Winter 2019 collection, C2H4 has returned with another range centered around possible social formations of the future. Dubbed Case #R001-X "Neonaissance," the collection focusses on the concept of an initiatory period of rebirthing cultural and economic hierarchies. The Neo-Renaissance is a hypothetical time where C2H4's fictional Transhuman Universe has been achieved.

Throughout the Spring/Summer 2020 collection, garments represent trailblazers and independent developers that emerged from the Under Class, Human Data Storage Staff, Elite Class of the previous collection. The functional nature of C2H4 is liberated through asymmetrical details with nylon and varied textures creating enriched layering that drives the new design language. Garment dyeing plays with conventional order and depths to highlight finishing details found throughout.

This season also serves as the debut of C2H4's womenswear line, utilizing a muted color palette to define the tech-forward styles and tailored silhouettes that make up the novel display of "feminine silhouettes" and explorations of "Wearable Devices." The collection also marks an inaugural foray into jewelry. The latest accessory expansion touches on unique science thematic concepts and whimsical styles constructed of 925 sterling silver. The silver-tone accessories carry the fluid nature of the range and stand as accents to the detailing and layering of garments.

The Case #R001-X "Neonaissance" SS20 collection will be available on C2H4's website starting March 21 at 12 p.m. EST.
