Spain Closes All Hotels By March 24, 2020

Spain is in the process of closing all hotels by March 24, 2020, while the country is battling the spread of the coronavirus.

All non-residents are advised to return to their home countries as soon as feasibly possible. The closure mandates all forms of accommodation, including campgrounds, to close by next Tuesday.

It wouldn't surprise me if other severely affected cities and countries forced hotels to close down completely, although many are shutting down voluntarily due to low single-digit occupancy rates.

Let's hope that most of the hotels open once the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is over.
