Nike's React Vision has mainly taken on bold, colorful makeups during its short time on the market, but now the D/MS/X-affiliated silhouette has released in a crisp - yet still technical - "Vast Grey" colorway. Combining simple shades with a multitude of material embellishments, the "Vast Grey" is ideal for sneaker lovers who'd prefer a shoe that speaks with its build and textures instead of its color palette.

Made of a thin synthetic mesh with elongated slits, the uppers are dressed in an ever-so-light grey shade. Pitch-black accents are present on the outlined midfoot Swooshes and stacked top/bottom eyestays. Medium grey tones on the middle eyestays and blocky heel clip serve as an intermediary between the dueling duo of light and dark hues. Small pops of sail make their presence felt on the heel collar and throat, with D/MS/X text hits on the tongue tab adding a little extra branded flair.

Midsoles are made fully of React foam in the vein of a React Element 55 or React Element 87, but discard their predecessor's carved-out shape for embossed, abstract pieces that almost look like ultra-extended capital Es. These soft foam folds are reinforced by semi-translucent rubber in high-wear areas on the heel and toe.

The Nike React Vision "Vast Grey" is available on the Nike webstore now, and retails for $140 USD.

Nike doesn't just sell product, it gives substantial sums of money as well - and the Swoosh recently pledged more than $15 million USD to help fight the spread of the novel coronavirus.
