Apple seems to be prepping for an iPad Pro refresh, according to an accidental leak by the company on its Chinese website. Apple momentarily listed four new iPad Pro models in a support document, according to a report by iPhone in Canada. Two of the four models, the A2228 and A2229, match the same model names as those listed in recent filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission, which typically indicates a new release from the company.

While not much is known regarding the iPad Pro refresh, analyst Ming Chi-Kuo noted in the past that the upgraded tablet will feature a triple-lens camera with 3D sensing capabilities. Another Apple leaker/analyst, Sonny Dickson, cosigned Ming's analysis last year after sharing a "final design" mockup of the new 11-inch model. On top of the new camera system, a long-needed hardware upgrade is also expected. Last month, The Information noted that Apple would be producing a new keyboard with a built-in trackpad for the iPad Pro, further suggesting that the iPadOS14 will include improved mouse support. This could help the tech firm in bolstering its tablet line as laptop replacements, directly competing with the likes of Microsoft and its popular Surface devices.
