Barely after Wynn and Encore announced they're suspending operations, MGM Resorts is following suit.
Vital Vegas obtained an internal memo stating MGM will temporarily close their Las Vegas properties at midnight on Tuesday, March 17. Casino operations will cease at midnight tomorrow night, March 16.
Unlike the Wynn memo, the MGM resorts internal communique doesn't state a potential reopening date. Earlier today, the ACM Awards and related activities - which were slated to take place at MGM properties the first weekend of April - were postponed until September.
