Two major Las Vegas resort-casinos are set to close their doors Tuesday night.
Vital Vegas published what appears to be a leaked internal memo from Wynn Resorts CEO Matt Maddox stating that both Wynn Las Vegas and Encore will close on Tuesday night at 6:00 PM local time.
Mr. Maddox says in the memo that the resort is estimated to reopen on Wednesday, April 1. (April Fool's Day? Yikes.) "However," he writes, "we will monitor the situation and make a decision on re-opening in about 10 days."
(Image the irony if Caesars made the announcement during the Ides of March.)
