Emma Raducanu
Emma Raducanu criticised the "slippery" courts at the ASB Classic in Auckland after retiring from her second-round match with an ankle injury

She hopes to be fit for the Australian Open but is not expecting too much.

The full extent of the US Open champion's injury is not yet known.

By Monday or whenever the tournament starts, we'll see.

We are taking it a day at a time and not expecting too much.

After rolling her ankle in the second set against Slovakia's Viktoria Kuzmova, she left the court crying.

The world number 75 exited in the second round of the Australian Open.

"It was really unfortunate because I was feeling great about my season and I was feeling really good with the preparation I did physically," she said.

I don't know what I could have done to prevent the accident.

After an exhibition match in December, she said she was injury-free and felt good.
