The Australia Open
The Australian Open starts on Monday, 16 January and runs until Sunday, 29 January

The Australian Open will not require players to take Covid-19 tests if they have a virus.

Craig Tiley said they wanted to follow what's happening in the community.

Staying away when you're sick has been made a recommendation by us.

The event took place in a biosecure bubble last year and in 2021.

The nine-time champion was deported just before the tournament because he was notvaccinated.

"If anyone is feeling unwell, stay home, our medical staff will continue to monitor that, with the players individually as well." Tiley said something else.

There will be players that will compete with Covid-19 and it is a normalised environment.

After testing positive for Covid-19, cricketer Matt Renshaw continued to play for Australia in a five day test match against South Africa.

The Australian Open runs from Monday to Sunday.
