Caserio will help find the right leader for the football team.
The Texans ended their season with a win, beating the Indianapolis Colts 32-31 on Sunday, and had played well in four of their last five games.
Smith said after the win over the Colts that they understood what was happening. I don't know if I'm expecting to be back. I think I'll be back.
Culley and Smith were the only Black coaches in the history of the franchise.
