A spectacular rocket's-eye view of a recent mission is shown in a video.
The footage, shot in clear conditions on January 3 during the company's 200th mission, shows a Falcon 9 rocket launch in Florida that deployed satellites for a variety of customers.
The first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket separated from the second stage. After descending to Earth, the first stage performed a perfect upright landing. Sometimes, the booster landing on a barge off the coast of Florida is part of a Falcon 9 mission.
The first stage of the Falcon 9 took just over eight minutes in the air, but the video was sped up and it only took 90 seconds to travel.
The booster that was used in last week's mission was on its 15th flight, having previously supported the launch of several satellites. In addition to launching the Dragon for cargo and crew missions to and from the International Space Station, other Falcon 9 flights have also sent a specially designed capsule for the first all-Civilian mission in 2021.
