According to one of Britain's most noted royal correspondents, any role Prince Harry may have had in King Charles's coronation has been scrapped.
There is no official role for the Duke of Sussex in the service if he attends.
"Spare," Harry's memoir that is due to be released on Tuesday, began to come to light on Thursday after Spanish-language versions of the book were put on display.
The traditional elements of the ceremony that would have seen Harry and other individuals who hold the title of duke play a role will not be included.
The Dukes will no longer kneel and pay homage to the monarch. She wrote that only William would do that role.
There is no role for Harry in the service according to an unnamed source.
Buckingham Palace and representatives for Harry did not reply immediately.
According to sources close to Harry, he will still travel to the UK to attend the ceremony.
The source said that Harry's father would want to show his respect.
In a new promo clip from his interview with Tom Bradby, Harry said that he would not be opposed to mending relationships with the royals.
The Duke of Sussex was asked if he would attend the ceremony if invited.
