Joe was one win shy of the title last season, but he wants to win it again in the near future.

The Cincinnati Bengals are in the middle of a competitive window according to the player. The window isn't closed.

It's remarkable that the present and future looks so bright for the Bengals, who have never won a Super Bowl in franchise history, but finished in third or last place in the AFC North in five consecutive seasons from 2016 through 2020 and have never won a title.

In a hurry, having a top-notch quarterback can make a big difference.

Since he was the No. 1 pick of the 2020 NFL draft, the feeling around the organization has changed. While last season's run to the Super Bowl was a surprise, a similar push in the upcoming playoffs wouldn't be given his presence.

The Bengals enter the playoffs with eight straight wins and a 12-4 record, despite not having as much confidence as they did in the past. They will host the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the playoffs after winning the division.

The Ravens and Cincinnati played two games this season.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that "no one truly knows" when Lamar Jackson will return from the PCL injury that has kept him out of the Ravens' lineup.

The team with more stability at quarterback is the Cincinnati Reds, who are looking for a second straight NL title as they gear up for another run at the playoffs.
