Dolphins Fans Hopeful Tua Tagovailoa Can Return for Playoffs After Ugly Win vs. Jets

The Miami Dolphins are in the playoffs even though they are bad. They have a kicker, a good defense, and the Buffalo Bills.

The Dolphins defeated the Jets 11-6) on Sunday thanks to a 50-yard field goal by Sanders with 18 seconds left.

On the final play of the game, the Dolphins added a safety for the only non- field goal form of scoring.

The win propelled Miami into the playoffs as the No. 7 seed, as well as the loss by the New England Pats.

The city of Miami was able to return to the playoffs for the first time in two years.

A promising season for the Dolphins has been derailed by injuries to Tagovailoa. The Dolphins got the job done on Sunday despite a five game losing streak.

The defense held New York to just 187 total yards of offense and 38 yards on the ground, but the game's most valuable player was not on the field. The Jets were gashed by the Dolphins for 162 rushing yards and took the pressure off third-stringer Skylar Thompson.

If Thompson has to leave again next week, the Dolphins probably won't have a chance against the Bills. Teddy is dealing with a number of injuries.
