Brandon becomes more violent and cruel as a result of being bullied at school. He is forced to take the world by the spaceship that brought him to Earth, making it clear that he hails from a race of evil world conquerors.
Brandon starts killing anyone who has stood against him in a series of murders marked by an emblem reminiscent of Superman's "S" symbol. Brandon's adoptive parents murder him in cold blood when they attempt to kill him, severing his human attachment and completing his transformation into Brightburn.
Brightburn shares many of the same characteristics as the dark interpretation of Superman made by the man known as the Man of Steel. The former film has a lot in common with Man of Steel. Both movies explore what could happen if an alien with godlike powers appeared in real life, with Brandon's childhood journey similar to that of Superman.
Clark and Brandon grow up feeling different from everyone else because they are afraid of their super powers. Brandon and Clark both have parents who teach them to use their powers for good. Clark takes a more heroic path because he sees himself as superior to humanity.
The fact that Brightburn took so much from Superman shows how definitive it is. It could win over audiences who still want to see the Snyderverse live on in the DC Extended Universe.
Brightburn has its flaws, as it features some plot holes, horror clichés, andCGI that looks unrealistic, even for a low budget movie. Brightburn was released to mixed reviews and is now one of the lesser known movies in the filmography. This shouldn't affect viewers' hopes for the movie.
David Yarovesky is the director of Brightburn, which has a script written by his brother, Brian, and his cousin, Mark. The film will have a higher production value than a Hollywood blockbuster because of the fact that the writer of the script for the film is James.
Brightburn has it's merits. The plot shows the deep understanding of the Superman mythos by the Gunns, as it twists many aspects of the hero's tale to create a supervillain origin story. It shows that he was developing his own cinematic universe before he became co- head of DC Films.
The success of the superhero genre proves that James Gunn is ready to take over the DC Universe. Fans of his own work and those of Synder's films will be pleased by his Superman movie.
