Sir Richard said that Musk visited his son in the middle of the night just hours before his first space flight.

"I think it was about 2:30 a.m., when I was going to space," he said. I woke up two hours earlier than I was supposed to and then realized I had the wrong time but I was still awake.

He was part of the first crew to fly to space and was testing the passenger experience for future customers.

He went to the kitchen after waking to find a barefoot Musk standing there.

"Elon had decided to surprise us and wish his friend good fortune on his first flight," said Richard.

He is a nocturnal animal. He doesn't get a lot of sleep at night, but he does get some during the day. He said that they made a pot of tea and sat under the stars to catch up.

The CEO of the company went to the launch site to watch the flight and later told the billionaire that it was a great flight.

The next flight will be in the summer. "I'd be delighted if Musk could fly sometime, but he's obviously got his hands full at the moment, so I don't know if he'll be able to do it," said the billionaire.

Musk was praised for his talent and willingness to take calculated risks, as well as for his determination not to give up despite many failures. The Henry Ford of his generation is him.

Insider asked Musk for comment, but he didn't reply.
